Still nothing here in my part of the PNW. We had one early season dusting but that’s long since melted. Now we’re in that lovely phase of air inversion so it’s cold down here, warm up in the mountains and no snow.

My wife was supposed to go stay overnight with her mom in Burlington because her mom is having a new refrigerator delivered tomorrow morning. But today her mom told her not to worry about visiting her since it was going to snow 3 inches or more in Burlington tomorrow. She took that as a good enough excuse to skip the trip that she didn’t really want to make anyway since we’re also going to her mom’s for xmas. But ...

I wouldn’t put it past my MIL to mis-remember which day the forecast said it was supposed to snow. Even before I looked up the actual forecast, my thought, which I didn’t share with my wife, was “you drive a Subaru with above-average-in-winter all-season tires,” but I didn’t say that because I know what’s good for me.
